The NCAARC’s Annual General Meeting will be held Saturday – October 17, 2020 – 09:30 AM – Virtual Meeting
We meet using Google Meet and you should receive an email the week of the meeting from Liam Connelly VE6LMC. We will try and have phone in numbers for the meeting available for those with slow/limited internet access, however we are still working through the details on how to provide those.
If you do not receive an invite to the meeting and are a member, or are wanting to become a member please use the contact us form on the website and we will send out an invite to you.
NCAARC’s weekly basic training class will be starting back up on Wednesday January 22, 2020. This course will take a chapter or two a week and rotate through the chapters until such time as a student feels they are prepared for the exam. If the student is still not confident in a section they can continue to attend until such time as they are comfortable to sit the exam.
Courses are held at NAIT’s Patricia Campus in the westend of Edmonton.
If you are interested in enrolling in the class please contact training@ncaarc.ca for more details and to let our instructors know so we can prepare course material for you.
Also on the topic of training – is there anyone interested in taking an Advanced class delivered in the same format? If you are interested please let our instructors know as well as they may run a class if there is enough interest.
A friendly reminder that the monthly meeting this month will be our Annual General Meeting. Saturday March 16 at 9:30 AM at St. Albert Fire Station Number 3.
Please come out and support your club. This meeting elects your board members for the upcoming year. Please consider tossing your name into the ring to fill a board position as a lot of the positions have been filled by the same people year over year.
Oh and did I mention….. We have door prizes this year. To qualify for a door prize you must be a member in good standing and you must be in attendance at the meeting. If your membership has lapsed you can renew before the meeting via E-Transfer or you can renew at the meeting before the meeting starts.
