  • Basic Class Resuming Wednesday 6:30 January 16

For those who are looking to attend Basic Classes or have been attending the North Central Alberta Amateur Radio Club’s Basic Class:

The instructors Gern (VE6KG), Dave (VE6SKI) and Ernest (VE6EC) have decided to take a break from classes until Wednesday, January 16 2019 6:30 pm when we will resume classes at the NAIT Patricia Campus in Room P157. The Patricia Campus is located just south of Costco on 149 Street.

For those who have finished part of the course, we encourage you to come to continue the lessons – if you find yourself repeating the lesson, stop us and we may split the group up so that you can cover material that is new to you.

For those who have not begun the Basic Classes, come and start at the point where the instruction is at. You can continue to attend until you have successfully written your exam.

We cycle through the lessons so you are able to come into the class at any point and continue on until you have completed the 12 lessons (to cover the 16 chapters in the manual), or until you believe you are ready to write the exam. Our intention is to give you the information and instruction you need to be successful on the exam. We will stick to this task as long as you keep coming.

Your instructors would appreciate hearing from you to learn if you are still interested and planned to come to the classes or continue.

If you are new to attending, please email us using training@ncaarc.ca
