On Dec 17 starting at about 8 AM we will be assisting the Strathcona County Christmas Bureau with delivery day. This is a fun day helping spread the Christmas Cheer. We typically assist with traffic flow in the parking lot, along with directing people to the correct place to get registered, and loading the hampers/gifts.

The location this year will be a bit challenging to get everything flowing. We will need 12 radio operators to ensure things flow smoothly.

If you are able to help us out with this public service event please contact public-service@ncaarc.ca and let Patrick know.  If you do not have a handheld radio we have plenty of spares!

We are trying to keep our mailing costs down this year if possible.  Please print the application and complete and bring it to breakfast or a meeting with your payment and give it to the membership chair or another board member.

The North Central Alberta Amateur Radio club will be offering a training course coming up at the end of the month.  If you are interested in taking the course to achieve your Basic certification please contact training@ncaarc.ca.

The dates for the course are from 9:30AM to 3:30 PM on Oct 22, 27,  Nov 5 and 12.
